Our Story

Our Story

Our Story

Our story begins with Indra, a true old soul with a passion for finding beauty in forgotten things. Combined with her love for beautiful spaces, she wandered through countless homes, hotels, galleries, and quiet corners of the world. Every place told its own story — a mood, a memory, a feeling that lingered long after she left. Inspired by these encounters, she began collecting pieces that carried that same sense of soul and timelessness. But as her collection grew, so did her vision: why not share these soulful pieces with other homes?

With the same care and passion she would give her own home, Indra began sourcing and curating objects that bring nostalgia, intimacy, and timeless beauty to spaces everywhere.

Today, those inspirations live on through Maison Amaranth: a collection of objects with soul, curated to transform houses into homes that feel lived-in, loved, and full of stories.

At Maison Amaranth, we believe every home deserves one-of-a-kind objects with soul. Each piece we source carries history, character, and charm — treasures that evoke nostalgia, intimacy, and romance.

We hunt for the extraordinary in a world of ordinary things: a 19th-century armchair that has witnessed countless stories, a delicate porcelain teacup that once graced a sunlit Parisian table, or an ornate mirror that reflects centuries of elegance. Every object is chosen with the care and passion we would give our own homes.

Our collections are curated to inspire, delight, and transform spaces into homes that feel lived-in, loved, and timeless. From antique furnishings to unique décor, each piece tells its own story — ready to be part of yours.

The name ‘Maison Amaranth’ (pronounced A·muh·ranth) was inspired by the globe amaranth flower. Much like the flower, known for its myth of being everlasting, our pieces are timeless. They endure through generations, telling stories that never fade, and bringing a lasting sense of beauty and wonder to your home.

Welcome to Maison Amaranth, where objects have soul and rooms have stories.

Meet The Founder

Our founder, Indra Hennaut, is a true old soul with an enduring love for things that carry time, memory, and soul. Those who know her describe her as observant and instinctive — someone who notices the smallest details and feels deeply connected to her surroundings. Her eye was shaped not by formal training, but by curiosity: years spent wandering through homes, museums, markets, and streets, simply absorbing how people live and the stories their spaces tell. She finds beauty in imperfection, poetry in objects that have lived many lives, and meaning in creating spaces that feel intimate and real. To her, collecting is less about design and more about emotion — a way of honoring the past while quietly shaping the present.

“Every piece I choose is one I would cherish in my own home — each with a soul, a story, and a promise to endure.”
