Frequently Asked Questions
We are based in France, but we do not have a physical retail location. Our objects can only be found online. Stay in the know by signing up for notifications.
At Maison Amaranth, we seek out objects that carry history, soul, and character. Our treasures come from across Europe—France, Italy, Spain, Belgium, and the UK—and occasionally beyond. Each piece is chosen not just for its beauty, but for the story it tells. We hunt for the extraordinary in the ordinary, selecting only items that evoke nostalgia, intimacy, and timeless charm. Every object we bring into our collection is ready to become part of your home’s story.
We continuously source unique vintage and antique pieces, allowing us to introduce new items in biweekly drops. Each release is carefully curated, ensuring a fresh selection of exceptional pieces for our collection. Each drop is announced on our social media channels, and members of our community receive exclusive early access via email before the public release, ensuring they can secure the most coveted items first.
A “drop” refers to a curated release of newly sourced vintage and antique items.
Antique: Items over 100 years old, valued for their historical importance, exceptional craftsmanship, and unique character.
Vintage: Pieces that are at least 30 years old, often reflecting the distinctive style and design of their era.
Rare: Objects prized for their scarcity and individuality, offering a sense of exclusivity to any collection.
Ancient: Artifacts or objects 500 years or older, carrying the heritage and stories of civilizations long past.

When you make a purchase, an order confirmation email will automatically be sent, which serves as your official receipt. This includes all details of your order, such as the items purchased, prices, taxes, shipping costs, and the total amount paid. If you would like to receive an official invoice, please contact us via email and we will be happy to provide one.
Items in your cart are not automatically reserved. While you have items in your cart, they are not held exclusively for you, and other customers may purchase them. If an item sells out before you complete your purchase, it may no longer be available. Your cart is saved in your browser, but there is no guaranteed reservation period. We recommend completing your purchase promptly to ensure your items remain available.
All sales are final. We encourage customers to carefully review all product details before placing an order. Many of our items are vintage or antique, and natural signs of age—such as wear, patina, or minor imperfections—are an inherent part of their character. These features reflect the authenticity and history of each piece.
We take every measure to ensure that your order arrives safely; however, unforeseen issues may occasionally occur during transit. If an item arrives damaged, please contact us at info@maisonamaranth.com with photographs of the item, packaging, and shipping box. Our team will respond promptly to assist you in resolving the matter.
Normally, we don’t offer in-person pick-up, but in some cases, depending on the size of the item, exceptions can be made. If you’re based in France and would like to pick up your order, please contact us via info@maisonamaranth.com and we can see what’s possible. Payment should be completed online before pick-up. Once collected, the item is the responsibility of the customer.
