An antique pewter baluster bud vase found in Chambord, likely originating from Holland circa 1910. This elegant piece was crafted by the renowned foundry of C. Kurz & Co. in the historic pewter-smithing town of Tiel, Holland, and features their signature "C & K" stamp alongside a French "Etain Pur" purity mark on the base. It features a slender, baluster ewer silhouette defined by the fluid, organic lines of the Art Nouveau movement, beautifully paired with a gracefully curved scroll handle and a delicate pouring lip. Handcrafted from fine pewter, its metal surface has aged beautifully over the last century, taking on a soft, muted matte luster with subtle, authentic surface marks that speak to its long history.
